Obama's NEW Elevator
The initial design for Obama's elevator (down below) was not really saying much about his power position. It was also quite unattractive and a waste of materials since the person only takes up 1/5th of the standing room. It was intending to have a futuristic feel, but was quite unsuccessful.
Even though this design is much simpler, I feel it expresses the nature of President Obama's power. It resembles an eye which is suppose to reflect the 'vision' of a new America which Obama tactfully used in his political campaign and is a big part of why he won and is now in power.
